Flowing With The Tide

Today I want to share with you about flowing with the tide.

Many people find themselves struggling against the different situations that are affecting their lives. They will find themselves as if they are hanging on to a piling on a dock with the current trying to pull them away from what they want in their life.

Constantly waiting for the tide to back off and give them a break, not knowing if they are going to get swept away or not.

The medical report is negative, the job isn’t working out, you feel you have set your goals too high…

As the months go by in our lives, in some cases even the years, we don’t see anything happening, it’s easy to get discouraged and quit believing in what we are striving for!

Just because you don’t see anything happening doesn’t mean that there isn’t something happening behind the scenes.

It is when we go negative in our life that the ability to manifest something greater in our lives has no chance at all. By staying positive in all things we can expect to see the right people show up at the right time, the medical situation can change, the relationship can heal.

If you can stay in a place of faith, all things can change for the better. It is when we get negative we shut off the flow of possibilities.

When we believe in something bigger in our life, that there is a grand destiny, a grand plan for all of us, that is when things begin to change for the better. Behind the scenes, their are great things forming up when we allow the change to happen.

Picture the tide being calm, maybe you are walking at the beach through a tide pool. The life in tide pools are constantly dealing with challenges. Predators, raging currents, big waves crashing down on them. The sea life in these tide pools need to survive through storms in their life just like you and I. The sea anemone in particular is very resilient. They are beautiful when they are at peace and they are very sensitive to their surroundings. When you disturb the sea anemone, it will quickly close itself shut in a very protective closed up form.

Your dreams and your desires are very much the same way, they are wide open, beautiful and flourishing when they are received with openness and surrounded with your faith. It isn’t until you go negative, or disturb this phenomena that they will shut down, cease to flow.

When I am dealing with my business I sometimes I feel I am in a storm at sea getting tossed about. It isn’t until I put the boat adrift that I can begin to relax, drifting with the wind. Flowing with the tide. This is much like dealing with heavy traffic, closing a deal, or feeling as if your relationship is disconnected or in a state of constant turbulence. But if I simply accept that this is the way the flow of life goes, that we are interrupted by events that knock us out of the flow, then it’s much easier to cruise towards our destiny. In the big picture, when we are resisting the tide, bucking the current and not relying on our faith, our dreams and goals may be pushed further away, that illness may start to re-manifest, the relationship may start to falter and grow more distant.

This is when we start the negative self talk, our families hear it, our co workers and employees hear it, our body hears it and most importantly, the very thing that is working behind the scenes to make your life change for the better hears it. This self talk pushes everything away.

It can start by heading to work in heavy traffic, somebody cuts you off, a bad attitude can fuel the idea of, ‘Im having a bad day’, and it can lead to other bad self talk, ‘I will never get this business off of the ground’, ‘I will never get my health back’, ‘my relationship will never get better’…

Flowing with the tide isn’t always easy. We need to have faith that things will all be okay. We need to have faith in something much bigger than the things of this earth. Faith is a powerful weapon. It doesn’t matter to me what you believe in or how you want to label this. But it is when we have no faith in anything, that we will find ourselves hanging back on, waiting for things to get better.

It may not happen right away, but somewhere behind the scenes there is something happening in your favor!

Instead of complaining about your problems and pushing the good favor away, flow with the tide. Be thankful instead of always complaining. Take time to be peaceful and give thanks for the great things in your life and the great things that are coming!

You can do what others can’t do for you! New relationships, prosperity, abundance are all coming!

Just like the creatures in a tide pool, we will all have challenges through our lives. These creatures don’t have expectations. The simply exist. We as humans are blessed to have the consciousness and the ability to think, pray and find happiness. It is in flowing with the tide and accepting our lives that we will find the magic, the abundance and the health that we all desire.
